The dreadful haze still lingers on and with no clear end in sight (literally) yet, the last thing you want is to be down with a bug.

And as much as I hated it (to the very last drop) in my younger days, it's hard not to admit that this is THE ultimate virus exterminator. It's also really super easy and fuss-free! Did I also mention that this is also great for soothing a cough and sore throat? It also works perfect to prevent a full-blown cold and is my choice booster when I feel the onset of something nasty brewing. 

Too easily do we pop a pill (or two) of synthetic remedies that seem to build a resistance each time at the onset of another flu. Not to mention that these are full of chemicals we wouldn't otherwise put into our body!

Lean Mean Flu-Fighting Fix

Ingredients

1/2 Large-sized Lemon, freshly squeezed
4 Thin slices of Ginger Root
1 Tablespoon of Manuka Honey (or other natural sweeteners if you're Vegan)
1/2 Teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar 

Directions

1. In a cup of hot water, add in the sliced ginger.
2. Let the water cool to a warmer temperature before adding the lemon juice, honey, cinnamon and apple cider vinegar. Stir well. 
3. Brace yourself. 

Have as many of these throughout the day depending how you feel. This also works on a daily basis to keep them buggers at bay. Trust me, one shot of The Fix and you'll instantly feel the drowning cries of the viruses as you chug down this super alkalising all-natural concoction.
